Wednesday, April 30, 2003 | The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis! Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Take the Dante Inferno Hell Test *LOL* Well that's kinda expected, seeing how I'm wiccan. But me malicious? Or maybe I got a high score on Malebolge because I'm tarot-card, astrology and oracle girl. Anyway limbo sounds like a nice place to be... it's got Socrates and Aristotle! Lotsa philosophical arguments to pass Eternity with! |
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 | I found a very interesting video clip here...it's the song "Poison" by Alice Cooper with all the shots of the two sexiest Slytherins (i.e. Snape and Luscious...*ahem* I meant Lucius) from the two movies strung together playing in the background. I found it pretty amusing *grins* |
Monday, April 28, 2003 ![]() The above photo is for Chris...Alan Rickman as Hamlet (1992). =D |
Sunday, April 27, 2003 1. Invisible man - Alan who? 2. Invisible actor - I didn't realise that was him 3. Visible actor - Anyone have a decent copy of Les Liaisons Dangereuses? 4. Visible man - If he so much as steps on stage, I need a ticket And that's pretty much me *LOL* I think I'm going to reach Stage 4 very soon. | Interesting fact I learnt today...Jason Issacs's character in DragonHeart was called Lord Felton. Yes, sounds like he is really suited to play Lucius Malfoy... |

*points at "absent minded professor types"* | Wanted to post this about an hour ago, but blogger is going cranky on me as usual. Who needs a boyfriend when you have this irritating server to throw daily tantrums at you? And it actually manages to be even more irritating than a boyfriend because you can't kill this thing! Anyway...Miss Tang! Me? R/H shipper? *arches eyebrow* Nah, I'm more of a Severus/Me shipper *smirks* Gorgeous combination of HP & DM? o.O *horrified expression* didn't you at least take a photo? And about the (in)famous "Worst HP Pairings List"...wait up! I'm joining in the brain-storming! *sneakily slips away and hides from fellow Professors and students* I've read Nazgul saving Snape from Voldie, but not pairing up (thankfully) |
Thursday, April 24, 2003 ![]() Evil Incarnate (...Just Make Me Bad...) What Type of Slytherin Are You? brought to you by Quizilla Make way for the Heir of Slytherin, seriously evil witch coming through... *smirks* |

Monday, April 21, 2003 ![]() find your element at mutedfaith.com. <> Oh dear...does that make me Trelawney? | I've just realised why this Jap song I heard sounds so familiar...it's the Japanese version of "Johnny B. Goode" (by Chuck Berry) that Michael J. Fox sang in Back To The Future! It's a bit strange, but I like it! *grins* |
Sunday, April 20, 2003 My friend even made a gif of Koichi's mistake...*LOL* and that is Tsuyo going over to pat him on his back comfortingly...during the song! | FFnet is finally working! *grins* I've set up the link to Part 2 in the restricted section. Please give me some comments/reviews because I felt this introduction was a little awkward. This is the reason why I skipped the whole part about the Dursleys in Part 1, I really can't stand writing about them. | Now I can see my blog. Oh, I wouldn't Avada-Kedavra the server...I was thinking more in terms of Imperius. *evil grin* BTW Chris, I liked your sushi icons! | ![]() Are you British? this quiz was made by Erin I found a weird quiz! But I resent that result (it's actually 50% British, by the way). Am definitely NOT American. And who defines "good" country, anyway? *scowls* Anyway, be prepared for a major quiz-result onslaught. All quizzes below courtesy of Chris! ![]() Which Enemy of the Christian Church Are You? Take More of Robert & Tim's Quizzes Watch Robert & Tim's Cartoons I don't think I'm atheist! I just...believe in a different system that's all. ![]() Which Plant Are You? this quiz was made by Erin So I guess that makes me a very prickly person to be around. ![]() Take the What High School Stereotype Are You? quiz, by Angel. No, was not mistreated or ignored. But yes over-whelming levels of stupidity sounds very familiar...possibly emitted by me then *grins* | ![]() ![]() Koichi forgot his lyrics (again!) on the 18/4 episode of Music Station. Again, the appearance of baka mita no hakuba ouji *LOL* | I've posted Chapter 1 of the second part of the destiny trilogy...but I can't seem to find it anywhere on fanficnet. Seems like all these things are just happily acting up on me...first blogger, now this. If only the Unforgivable Curses worked on internet servers. | I just saw this advert on TV for a mandarin-pop girl-group called "1/5". *arches eyebrow* First they had "F4", then they had "5566"...now I'm waiting for them to have a group called "3.1415...". Maybe me and Chris should go start one called "9 3/4"! |
Saturday, April 19, 2003 David Friedman(realising he's lost his lighter): "Well fuck me sideways." Sadie Hawkins: "What, here?" --Judas Kiss Sorry, that was a bit rude maybe. But I'm not going to censor myself on my own blog! And I watched 12 Angry Men...the symbolism was really very cliched. Then again, this is a 1957 production. (Hm...out of point, but when was the original version of Rear Window made?) Anyway for most of the show I was immensely suspicious of Henry Fonda's character...I was half expecting that he was the real murderer or something! | They moved the screening of Love Actually to November 7th. *even deeper scowl* | It's still not working! *scowls deeply* |

Thursday, April 17, 2003 | I'm almost done watching Yume no California...again. (Yes, I know I have to stop watching it, but I can't help myself.) Anyway it brings to mind this quote: "The best time in life is always now, because it's the only time there is. You can't live regretting what's past, and you can't live anticipating the future. If you spend any amount of time doing either, you'll never live at all." But then again, we human beings always want the very things that are not good for us. Sadistic things, aren't we? |
Tuesday, April 15, 2003 | Aingeal's talk about food reminded me of the following conversation: "You look rather like a goldfish when you do that, Potter," Malfoy said. Harry glared at him. I happen to like goldfish." "I like spaghetti, doesnt mean I want to look like it." (Time Out Of Place) And how did what you said result in this again? *LOL* | Hmm.... okay, my blog is doing this weird time travelling thing. For some reason the template I have now in my records is the one from well, February, I suppose. | Ok, my other fic has started... actually it only has about 4 "chapters" (depending on what options you chose of course). *grins* And I've posted the last chapter of Destiny Trilogy Part 1 as well... it was kind of silly actually, but...whatever. On to Part 2! |

Sunday, April 13, 2003 | Just watched Dragonheart. Chris...why is it that the guys we like always drop their pants on-screen at some time or other? And it was very weird watching the future Professor Lupin slamming Lucius Malfoy's face into the table. And even worse, Malfoy sucking up to Lupin. *LOL* |
Saturday, April 12, 2003 |
Friday, April 11, 2003 Anyway, I was reading this Harry/Draco fic called "Time Out of Place". It's slash and usually don't read slash, but so far (I'm up to chapter 12) it's not too bad. The only gross things so far have been of the Death-Eater-mass-torture variety. | Oh Chris, did you know channel i is showing Dragon Heart on Sunday at 7pm? I think Jason Issacs is in it. *grins* |

| Tsuyo-chan, otanjyoubi omedetou~! You're Azumi Ryuu from "La Periode Bleu". Tough and defensive, you push people away before they get close enough to hurt you. You're haunted and bad-moody and think violence solves everything. Which Domoto Tsuyoshi Character Are You Most Like? brought to you by Quizilla and I made another quiz for today! *grins* aitsu wa kakkoii deshyou? | And by the way, Chapter 11 of my fic is up! I don't care if nobody reads it, I just like writing it. *silly grin* | Today is the release of "Eien no BLOODS"!!! *grins* The title sounds a bit strange, but if you translate it using the Japanese version of English that is entirely unique from the meaning as we know it, it means "bonds that last forever" (I think). The tune is a bit too commercial for my taste, but the MTV is very interesting. I like the way they sort of have a storyline... it's about a guy who doesn't know where he's going in life who looks through a mirror and finds himself in 1970, and how he finally comes to terms and goes back to where he belongs. |

Monday, April 07, 2003 At the risk of sounding really really morbid, I'd have to say those were quite enjoyable reads. *grins* Did you read the giant squid's? he got ditched by a flobberworm who got enamoured with The Boy Who Lived. Too bad it wasn't Aragog who ditched him *LOL* | The article in Life! today about people who speak in affected accents... reminds me of Alan Rickman in Judas Kiss. AR was supposed to be a police lieutenant from New Orleans... and he just couldn't seem to decide whether he wanted to speak with an American accent or not. Or maybe he forgot and went back to his normal British accent. Emma Thompson was a bit more consistent, but she sounded like she was from some cowboy thing. *grins* It was quite a cringe-worthy movie anyway, in terms of plot. |
Saturday, April 05, 2003 | Oh, I found a Chibi Snape! Very cute, haha... And you can also see a short clip of Private Lives here. It's the american run of the play, but I don't know which night. It's really funny but yet kind of sad at the same time...like watching George and Martha from Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, except they're more witty and sarcastic...and let's not forget darned attractive. *grins* AMANDA: Whose yacht is that? ELYOT: The Duke of Westminster's I expect. It always is. AMANDA: I wish I were on it. ELYOT: I wish you were too. AMANDA: There's no need to be nasty. ELYOT: Yes there is, every need. I've never in my life felt a greater urge to be nasty. AMANDA: And you've had some urges in your time, haven't you? ELYOT: If you start bickering with me, Amanda, I swear I'll throw you over the edge. AMANDA: Try it, that's all, just try it. ELYOT: You've upset everything, as usual. AMANDA: I've upset everything! What about you? ELYOT: Ever since the first moment I was unlucky enough to set eyes on you, my life has been insupportable. AMANDA: Oh, do shut up, there's no sense in going on like that. ELYOT: Nothing's any use. There's no escape, ever. AMANDA: Don't be melodramatic. | Chris, you can always think of cooking as potions. *grins* I, on the other hand, will probably be eating a lot of food cold from the can. Firstly, I'm too lazy and I think cooking isn't allowed in the Singapore Uni hostels, and secondly I like my food cold anyway. I mean, sushi, cha soba and salad? Good thing about Singapore having no winter... but actually, I was eating cold food all the time I was in Germany anyway. I guess I just don't really care. I think we'd actually have to read "Peter Pan" the play if we want to discuss the duality. I confess to have never read the children's story and I've never even watched the Disney version. I think the play itself is actually less sugar-and-spice, and actually explores death and growing up, that sort of stuff. | Another strange coincidence: In An Awfully Big Adventure, Stella (who is abandoned by her mother when she is a baby) is taken in by her Uncle Vernon, who happens to be her mother's brother-in-law. Her aunt's name is Lily, and at one point she complains that he's not even really her uncle, which is what Harry does. |
Friday, April 04, 2003 | Chris! you have the making of CoS? *grins maniacally* Be afraid... be very afraid (LOL) I don't suffer from Potterholism, I enjoy every minute of it! Speaking of Jason Issacs I read in An Awfully Big Adventure (the novel by Beryl Bainbridge, since I couldn't find the movie anywhere...it's very nearly the same thing if you have a good enough imagination) that it's actually customary for the actor playing Captain Hook to play Mr Darling as well. |
Thursday, April 03, 2003 | Chapter 10 of my fic is up! *grins* I wish I had watched the making of CoS now... *sighs* I wasn't really that into HP at that time, so now I only get to watch bits and pieces of it from various sources. I heard that they'll be including it in the DVD though, so I'll just have to go rent it when it comes out. | Take Me With You Composed by: Michael Kamen Lyrics by: Alan Rickman Your eyes are still closed Are you sleeping? Can I touch you? Would it make you fall? We're sailing on through the sky When there's a cloud slips inbetween us I will live in your dreams Take me with you The night is too cold Let me hold you Drifting onwards Do you know how the wind blew? We're sailing on through the sky And I will keep you close beside me I will live in your dreams Take me with you Drifting onwards Do you know where the wind blows? Take me with you You're sailing down through the sky And I will hold you close beside me I will live in your dreams Take me with you I will live in your dreams Take me with you At least I think that's what she sang... her scottish accent is a bit strong. I initially thought she sang "drift in half-worlds"... =D |

Or, I could have been...
| Alan Rickman's new movie, Love Actually, will be released in the States and UK on 11/7/03... wonder if we'll get to watch it. Well, for those people who are wondering about box-office performance, it's got lots of other big names (all british) like Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, and Rowan Atkinson did a cameo...plus the director is Richard Curtis... *fingers crossed, toes crossed, hair crossed...* |
Tuesday, April 01, 2003 | ![]() Which Harry Potter fangirl-bait are you? Find out here! I wasn't trying for this...but anyway, that works too. Although I'd really rather be the fangirl than the fangirl-bait. Especially for this particular fangirl-bait. *grins* | If you have realplayer, check this out! *collaspes in fits of helpless giggles* That expression on AR's face is absolutely priceless! And the sight of Hugh Grant wearing that ugly crocodile head-dress... *smirks* (Let's just say me and AR have one thing in common when it comes to people we dislike) It's from An Awfully Big Adventure, so I suppose Hugh Grant was playing the crocodile that Captain Hook was afraid of *LOL* (Guess who was playing Captain Hook?) | I found a really interesting site: Alan Rickman's Live Journal. It's not really written by him of course, but some of it is pretty hilarious. True-blue Rickmaniacs please try not to be offended though, cos it's really more of a Snape journal...Alan Rickman isn't that bad-moody. (I think.) Quote from the site, a supposed incident at the post office: "This is a real address?" "No, actually, I made it up. I wondered if it would get to someone anyway or just circulate around the Dead Letter Office like the Ghost of Christmas Past." "You know, I could call federal agents and have you arrested for saying things like that." "Would they mail my package, or would they need to ask the president?" "Sir, what's in the package?" "Shirts." "No batteries?" "No." "No breakables, liquids, machine parts?" "No." "No letters?" "No." "Not even a greeting card, sir? How will the recipient person know what to do with the shirts?" Don't give up an inch. They may have won their independence, but we still have the empire. "Not even a greeting card. You see, I'm hoping the "recipient person" will acknowledge that these are indeed shirts, and consequently wear them. If you think I should send instructions, maybe I could write "A shirt - Wear me" on the tag next to the fabric information." "Would you like parcel post or Global Priority Express?" "Parcel post will be fine." "Do you need insurance?" "No, but if I buy a big enough stamp, can I have you sent to Hell? I'd like delivery confirmation on that." | |
